Gary is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music, a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from DePaul University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Baltimore. He is an active musician in the DC area and active in several professional associations. He is currently Director of Administration and Operations at the Association of Research Libraries.
